Mead Mowers and Chainsaws Ltd commenced trading with the Husqvarna franchise in 1991. Starting from small premises in High Street, Rangiora it expanded to larger premises in Southbrook, Rangiora in 1998. In 2009 it expanded again to larger purpose built premises on Flaxton Road, Southbrook Rangiora.

Owner Malcolm Mead has a very long association with Husqvarna dating back to Husqvarna's establishment into New Zealand.

Through this long association Malcolm has gained huge respect and confidence in Husqvarna's product standard, the company's emphasis on quality and the company's ethical policy. He sees it as a tremendous advantage in having such a strong company back-up with providing a service to their customers.

The shop stocks a large range of accessories, safety equipment and everything for the home handyman to service his own equipment from mower blades, oils, chainsaw chains through to replacement parts.

Mead Mowers also specialise in servicing the forest industry with a full range of products including Oregon chainsaw bars, chains and accessories, safety equipment from clothing, boots, hard hats, etc.

Mead Mowers are also agents for the commercial range of Karcher water blasters, vacuum and other associated products and accessories. We are also agents for Briggs and Stratton engine, generators and accessories, Kohler engines and Masport mowers.

Booking for equipment repair or service can be made via email or telephone.

A pick up and deliver service is offered in Rangiora and surrounding areas.
